The High School is the last puzzle piece to complete Hilltop Harrison – A forward-thinking educational model that unifies all district facilities into a centralized campus to achieve long-term operational and fiscal efficiency, produce workplace-ready graduates, and strengthen Kentucky’s economic future.
WE ARE SO CLOSE
THE IMPACT
Harrison County serves over 2,730 students, offers nearly thirty career pathways, and has low teacher turnover. Our centralized campus will accommodate all students on one site, drastically improving critical emergency response times and simplifying logistics for multi-student households.
THE IMPACT
Consolidation from four elementary schools to one is estimated to save the district $300,000 to $400,000 per year in utilities and maintenance alone. Sharing localized resources like transportation, labs, athletic facilities, and the working farm will increase equitable access for all students while reducing the delivery cost for these educational services.
THE IMPACT
The new area technology center on campus will facilitate expanded programming in the fields of technology, skilled trades, and automotive. These training opportunities will produce workplace-ready graduates entering the workforce and strengthen kentucky’s economic future.
THE IMPACT
New businesses will plant roots in Harrison County, enhancing our community and growing our skilled workforce across Kentucky.
